"Building a Bigger Baywood Greens"

In anticipation of the next nine holes at Baywood Greens, a bridge was erected to accomodate our many golf enthusiasts. Crossing the 144-foot bridge to holes 19-26, the future is looking very bright for this new addition to Baywood.

After constructing the bridge on-site, the process of raising it over Route 24 was the next task at hand. It took a 500-ton crane brought in from Philadelphia to lift the bridge and install it safely on its pilings. Given a five-hour window from DelDOT to get the job done from midnight 'til 5:00 am, the crew found it was only necessary to close the road for one hour and forty-five minutes.
