4.5 out of 5 stars
Well maintained, beautiful landscaping, friendly staff, terrific
natural beauty abounds. Course is very close to the Delaware Inland
Bays; herons and egrets are commons sights with the ocasional osprey
sighted. Rough is not long but is well-watered and thick. Fairways
are broad. The back 9 is a bit more open and forgiving than the
front nine, most of which was carved though mature woods. Water
is featured on all but 6 holes. The average golfer may feel challenged,
but birdies can be had from the Green tees (about 6300 yards).
GPS on carts gives yardage to center of greens, although 4 (on
average) non-par 3 holes are restricted to cart-path only. I treat
myself to this course once a month. Don't miss playing this course
if you are in the Rehoboth Beach DE/Ocean City MD area.

A great new course. Always expected to play this
course for our summer golf vacations...a true gem. It's obvious money
was not an option when designing this course, everything was done
perfectly. It is a medium length course but tends to play short because
it is kept in such great shape. The front nine is challenging due
to the high level of accuracy off the tee. The back nine is wonderfully
designed, it will not put you to sleep. The last few holes are magnificant...you
must pick your shots and then are always second guessing right before
you hit.

If your looking for a fantastic golf course with great scenery,
challanging, but not too difficult, this is the course for you.

As pleasant as there is. This course was in top
shape, with all the extras of a private club, and none of the attitude...staff
were friendly, maintenance was superb, landscaping so far above average
as to almost be distracting...quite possibly my favorite in the area...

Baywood Greens - Golf, Flowers and More
Baywood Greens is a challenging course with LOTS of sand and water.
A straight hitter will score well, and an average player can play
the course to some degree of satisfaction. The landscaping is terrific.
Bring your clubs and your camera, but don't hold up the other groups
by taking too many pictures!. The carts have GPS and lots of other
information. ONE OF MY FAVORITE COURSES. |
